Tradition of London to close

I've just heard that one of the best Toy Soldier and Model Soldier shops in the world is about to close.
After 60 years of trading in London, from the 31st December, the shop in Mayfair is going to close.
Tradition of London will continue to trade, however, but not from the shop...

What a sad story to end the year! The shop certainly was a marvellous advertisement for the hobby, particularly when it was sited in Picadilly, in the days when model soldiers were not so widely available. And, of course. their magazine, "Tradition", is still a great source of reference and set the standard for so many of the publications that followed.

Does anyone have any recomendations for great model shops now that this one has closed. I can do anywhere in London really?
